We are getting married March 30, 2018 and our colors are wine, navy and gold. We wanted to get colors that we love and we aren’t fans of pastels. Get what you love instead of trying to match the season! lol

3 days ago I would have said no because it was so sunny and summerlike here. Oh, Canada we got 10 feet of snow again so it feels like the dead of winter and more suitable for burgandy.

If the colour choice is what worries you, just pair the dress, flowers, etc. with a few spring like elements so whatever the season is like at the time of your wedding won’t matter much.

I love burgandy. I’d do it for a summer wedding, lol.

I think you should just do whatever feels right to you without being too concerned about whether or not it’s seasonally appropriate. Yes, there are some things you probably should avoid doing (like having a Christmas-themed wedding in July), but other than that, it’s your day and you should do what makes you happy.

If you want to lighten the palette up for spring, you can throw in some blush tones, and add metallics for dimension.
