Hi! My name is Bria and I am 23 years old and I only have six more years until I am 30. I am fantasizing my 30s already and I think they are going to be a great decade; but I wonder when you get to your early 30s are you still considered young or old? Please let me know your responses?

Definitely young. To me, people are “old” when they reach 70.
I’m a 28 year old woman, btw.

I’m 32. I don’t feel old but I don’t feel as young as I did when I was 23.

I think it is in comparison to something. I am almost 30, and if I’m around 18 to 24 year olds and younger I often feel old just because I have had the luxury of putting my life together more than they have. There is a certain amount of “Oh, honey, the things you don’t know yet.” Around any other age group (including children) I feel young. Espeically when those are the children of friends who are around the same age.

Depends on who you ask. Ask a 10 year old and its ancient, ask a 70 year old and its young. Whats it matter?

depends who you ask…
to a 5 year old its prehistoric
to a 15 year old its old
to a 28 year old its normal
to a 45 year old its young
and to an 80 year old it a child
same with any age, younger will think its old and older will think its young

The cool thing about 30 is that at 30 you don’t GAF what others consider you.

I’m 34 but i was always told I’m an “old soul” when i was in my 20s I was a homebody, went to be early, read books. Now I’m more adventurous because I have more time on my hands (my 20s were all military, college, career-hunting).
It can be relative to the situation as well. I feel I am too old to read 17 magazine but too young to look at retirement homes.

I consider early 30s fairly young, but as others have mentioned, it’s all relative.

I’m 32 and I consider myself to be young at heart. My father is 62, he also considers himself to be young and my mother keeps complaining that he is too young at heart and needs to start acting his age instead of a 21 years old. So I think how young or old you are is how you feel, not neccesarily how old you actually are.

The 30s are the perfect decade, still young but no longer stupid. For me anyway, I’m sure there are plenty of people in their 20s who aren’t stupid. I wasn’t one of them…

You couldn’t pay me enough to go through my 30s again. I burried my husband 11 days before my 31st birthday.
But young or old really depends on which side of 30 you are.

I certainly hope it’s young, because I am late 30s and still feel young!
