Seems like it!
Seems like it!
We didn’t, but I really hate having my picture taken.
We got pictures taken recently and are not engaged yet. I see no reason to ale more when the time comes
We only did them because it was included with our photography package. I really liked them, though, and I think they’re much better to display in our home because they’re more artistic – almost editorial – and look cool as art. Wedding pictures look so wedding-y. 6 months after the wedding, I no longer wanted pictures all over the house of my bouquet, the close-up lace of my dress, our rings, and all those details that mattered bigtime on the day of the wedding.
Nope we didn’t. We had a Destination Wedding so it wasn’t part of our wedding package since our photog wasn’t near us. We didn’t feel the need for them….I don’t regret not doing them either.
We didn’t, either. We took some nice pictures the day of the proposal and that was it.
We did. It was included in our wedding package. I recommend doing it if it’s in the budget and makes sense given logistics. I am glad we did it because it allowed us to get more comfortable having our photos taken, feel more confident in our photographer’s skills and have some nice photos of us in normal, non-wedding clothes to share with family and keep on the work desk! We got cute photos of our dog too! While I know we will cherish our wedding photos, I feel like the engagement photos will always be more us, be nicer to display at home. And as my FH said, “we’re not going to look this good forever!”
We did because while the photograper was dh’s mentor, I had never met her so I enjoyed getting to know her and her style before our actual wediding. Plus we had no pictures together that were nice.
Our was included in our photog. package. The cool thing about it is that we are getting a “guest book photo album” made which is basically a photo album of the pics with spaces on the pages for guests to sign. A nice keepsake! But you could probably easily make that online with your own pictures, too!
I saw it as a “trial run” for the wedding pics. I’m really happy with how they turned out so am not worried about the wedding pictures. If they had been horrible I would have changed photogs.
We did because it was included and I’m so happy I did! Just to get familiar with my photog’s and get a feeling for what it’ll be like on the big day. Especially as I’m super camera shy, i wanted to get the first time out of the way where it’s just Fiance, me and the photog’s. I loved it! They pics turned out great and now I’m super excited for the wedding day pics!!
Ours were included in our package. We really enjoyed them, it gave us a chance to work with our photographer prior to the day and get comfortable around her. Also for her to pick up on what shots work for us and what dont.
I also wouldnt mind putting some around the house, its nice having casual/professional photos of Fiance & I.
Fiance didn’t want to get any done. Our photographers are in the U.S. and we’re in Canada so to do it with them wasn’t an option.
We’re having his dad take a couple of pictures but that’s just for the favors.
We weren’t going to do them and then decided at the last minute to get them done. I would say that it was a GREAT decision because it helped us get comfortable with getting our photos taken and it gave us a chance to get comfortable with our photographer. He also offered us a discounted photography package for our wedding, so it worked out to be the same amount of money as not having them.
We just did ours yesterday. I really would recommend it, even if you don’t like your photos taken.
Another plus is that it gives you a chance to test out your make up and your hair if you want to.
we werent going to, because of budget, but I have been regretting that decision. We just emailed our photographer to set some up later in the summer (so we HAVE to save!). We also have about zero pictures of us (except my avatar!), and I would love to have some to frame/share.
We didn’t plan on it. My father is an amateur photographer, so he came to visit and took some. We absolutely would not have paid for it.
