kristynlovesmrjenkins :  Getting married in February or on Valentine’s day is not cliche. It’s actually quite unique and original. I don’t know anyone who has gotten married then. How cute is that celebrating your anniversary on Valentine’s day every year?

kristynlovesmrjenkins :  I got married in February in Texas! It was acutally cheaper than the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. We chose a date following Valentine’s day and was actually able to snag bunch of sales for florals!

Our only concern was the weather, but Texas weather is always unpredictable!

I don’t think it’s cliche at all. I’ve never been to a February wedding. I would steer clear of the week near valentines day bc flowers would cost way more, but other than that, it’s off season & most things would be cheaper!

kristynlovesmrjenkins :  I hear ya! Especially the ring has to be “just right” (at least for me)!! I mean, I’m going to wear it for the rest of my life!!!

I’m in Texas too! We got married in Oct thinking it would be cooler. We were very wrong!

November could be nice.

A Valentine’s Day Wedding on Valentine’s Day would be cliche! Otherwise, you are good to go! (And hint: even if you wanted that, you should still have it. Do what you want, not what others think you should be doing.)

Every month of the year could technically be considered cliche for a wedding. Wearring a wedding dress or even participating in the ritual of marriage could be considered terrible cliches.

I wouldn’t worry about it in the slightest.

kristynlovesmrjenkins :  I tend to usually go to most weddings during “wedding season” which in my area is somewhere like April-October. I hardly ever attend weddings in the winter so i don’t see it as cliche as well! Most people I know don’t really GAF about valentines day though haha

If I had to choose a “cliche” month for weddings it would be June–not Feb which is considered off season in a lot of places– but even then why does it matter? I don’t think there is any month in the year that people should avoid just because it may be “cliche” or common. Just do what’s best for you and your FH.

Cliche, only on the dread Feb. 14th. All other dates are fine. Its a month like all others. I wouldn’t do it because it would probably be 10 degrees out with four feet of snow…but that shouldn’t happen in TX 😉

If there is a cliche wedding month, wouldn’t that be June for June bride?

A wedding ON Valentine’s Day might be slightly cheesy, but not the entire month. Darling Husband and I were married February 1, and it never occurred to me that it would be cliche or cheesy. But I do agree that florists will likely have higher prices simply due to volume in the week approaching Valentine’s Day.

kristynlovesmrjenkins :  I’m getting married on Feb 19, 2018 =)

It’s actually Family day that day in Canada, so it’s kind of cute. I don;t think it’s too cliche at all.

i don’t think it’s cliche, I don’t know (and have never heard of) anyone getting married in February. Mind you I live somewhere where February is pretty awful and gloomy, but still haha.

I did the VDay wedding the first time around cuz everyone in his family got married that day and the groom was deadset on it. The marriage ended so now that day is just weird but Iʻm more sad i canʻt really get married in February ever again, itʻs my favorite month here. Do what works for you guys 🙂
