@doubtingdebbieah:  A theme isn’t necessary unless you really desire one! Your colors could just as easily be your theme. 🙂

@doubtingdebbieah:  Nope, not at all.  We’re having a color scheme but no theme, it’s just not very us.

No.. but sometimes a bride has specific visions of things for her wedding..

Originally we didn’t want a theme, but everything I loved lead to romance-rustic, so we’re running with it!

I would say definitely no it doesn’t have to be one…I think now with my dress my theme is no longer there anyway lol. Go with what you like 🙂

@doubtingdebbieah:  I don’t think a theme is necessary unless you really want one.  We weren’t planning to have a theme initially, but after I ordered my dress and we started making more decisions, we determined that we like some very specific types of things.  Overall, though, our “theme” (if you can call it that) is “shit we like.”  Haha.

Our theme is “marriage.” Lol I don’t think wedding themes are necessary. I didn’t even realize people actually do this until a couple years ago.

No you don’t need a theme just a great colour palette that you stick to.

NO!  We didn’t have a theme.  But I do think it’s important to make sure your decor decisions are consistent throughout the event and don’t clash, so maybe have a guiding design vision in your mind based on how you’d like the event to “feel”, if that makes sense?
