I haven’t posted very much- but as I become increasingly addicted to the bee- I’m sure you’ll all be seeing me around…
Anyway– I would like your vote!
The last time i wrote about the painful waiting- we went ring shopping on March 15th.
A little history on this- I told him I wanted a morganite or other gemstone to keep costs down, and also because I think they are pretty. I was never opposed to a diamond, I love them! I just thought my SO needed to not feel pressured to buy a giant diamond.
Anyhoo, I told him I wanted to go see how gemstones looked on my hand and he actually suggested we go look at them after work. He hated all the gemstones, and took me over to the settings and loose diamonds in the store.
He told me not to look at price tags, just pick a setting I love, and match with a loose diamond I love… well.. I did that.
To my surprise, He put a deposit on the ring and told the sales lady He’d be back on the 29th to get it.
Now, I’m very curious as to how he will come up with the $ so quickly. yesterday, I offered to stop by the jewlers and help him make payments.. He insisted that I wait till the end of this month to “See how much he can pay on it by then”.
The end of this month is my birthday. Is he trying to throw me off?
Is he going to do it on my birthday? What do you bees think?

I voted maybe. The fact that he insisted on waiting so you don’t go make a payment, may mean that he already paid for it and has it. But it may not happen on your birthday. It’s hard to say.

Could go either way…. are you a birthday proposal kind of couple? We aren’t, so I’d know better. He probably either switched the ring or paid it off, though. Let him have his surprise, though.
Remember he may want to do it just after your birthday so you aren’t expecting it so don’t get mad at him for not giving it to you then and ruin it. ๐

@Cupcakegurl: The waiting will all be worth it once the ring is on your finger ๐

I voted maybe…. it all sounds so promising for you not waiting too much longer, but he might think you would expect it too much on your birthday.

I voted maybe- I think it’s very possible but who knows with men right?
I am excited for you, I hope he proposes soon, then at least one of us can be done with the waiting game ๐

All I can say is I was hoping for a birthday proposal, but it came and went, haha. That was this past Wednesday. Oh well, our anniversary is the 19th so I’m hoping for then.

Mine was a random Thursday evening and it was perfect – the ring will burn a hole in his pocket eventually. ๐
