Yes it is, I removed the head with an invisible setting to put onto another mounting, and you can have a jeweler sodder a new head to the current ring body as well.  you can see here we changed one top to another because the girl didn’t like her mounting, but its not a bad process…

if you want to send it to my jeweler, message me and i’ll give you his info.  if you’d rather go local just explain you want to have them cut off the current top head and sodder a new head for a single stone to the current ring setting.  shouldn’t be too hard
