It’s not a scam like they are trying to steal money from you but they will make you sit throught a sales presentation and try their hardest to get you to buy a timeshare. My mom and dad did it and it actually is awesome if you can stick to your guns and say “NO.” My parents didnt have to pay any sort of processing fee either. We are actually using one of the free stays in Vegas for the planet hollywood towers for my bachelorette party. I would say do it if you want a nice little getaway and dont mind sitting through a sales pitch! GL!

I keep getting these calls too from the “bridal awards center”…..be careful I googled them and one girl said she “fell for it”, gave them her credit card information and they charged $15,000 as a hold on a honeymoon….the whole thing sounds fishy.

yes and no. I had a call from similar people..forgot the name of the company. They gave us choices too. When I looked up the company’s name they turned out to be a hard selling, pushy pots and pans company that buys your wedding info from bridal shows and stuff like that. WHen I called the company back because I couldnt make the show.. they were very happy to reschedule me… turns out they got my info from a bridal show in florida that I never went to :-/ they just brushed it off and said it must be a mistake. Reviews I came across said it is a voucher you recieve..lots of block outs.. you have to book way in advanced, buy your own tickets etc…. many people said you end up paying more for what you are getting than if you had just booked your own vaca during low season.

I just got this phone call also, from the Bridal Award Center!  They said that I won 2 free wedding bands or a 3 day 2 night vacation.  They also said that I won $1000 worth of free coupons, and 20-40% off some houseware items.  All I needed to do was to go to a local hotel, and preview cookware items for about an hour and a half.

After reading all these posts, I am definitely not going.  I guess the saying still stands true…When it seems to good to be true, it usually is.
