I haven’t had my wedding yet but we are planning on doing an AHR– I hope I don’t feel this way when we get home from the wedding/honeymoon!

OMG I felt the same way!!! Our AHR was was more stressful then our wedding. I wish I had just held a backyard BBQ with some beer and called it good. *hugs*

@Carolyn72: You will get more excited the closer it gets too. 😉

This is why we agreed on NO AHR! I just…know I won’t have it in me. Maybe between now and then you will muster up some extra energy.

ha, I did the backyward BBQ a week and a half ago, but beforehand i got super stressed because i had more people coming than i imagined, i had to spend all this money on food.  and i totally didn’t care about doing it anymore.  of course it was fun in the end, but in no way did it feel like my wedding day!  just a chill party and i got to wear a pretty dress! (same dress i wore for my TTD).  I could never have done a full reception – partly because i did an Destination Wedding to save that money it would have cost!
