@tnbellebee:  it does mean that you’re at least thinning out but I believe I read that it can still be something like 48 Hours until real labor starts…. or something. I’m pregnant with my third child, I should know this by now…. Hahahah.

@tnbellebee:  Just out of curiosity, when are you due?

I went into labor two days after losing it with my son and the same day I lost it with my daughter.

Good luck and I hope it happens quickly for you! ๐Ÿ™‚

@tnbellebee:  no please don’t think it will take that long it could be a lot sooner.

I had my first baby on 6 hour after losing my mucus plug so anything is possible.

Sounds like you are getting close! Good luck! ๐Ÿ™‚

While I have heard that some people can lose their mucus plug and still be pregnant for weeks, it sounds like you are at least making progress.

For some, pregnancy can continue for days or weeks after losing their plug but that’s if it just comes out one day. Given that you are having contractions as well, I would assume that you’re going to progress at a faster rate!

Good luck!!

Its a sign you will have the baby soon but woman can lose the plug weeks before having the baby.

When the contractions are spaced apart evenly, that’s the sign that it’s happening. I had back labor so I can’t really comment on how painful the contractions here. My baby was facing the wrong way so when I’d have a contraction she would headbut my spine and the back pain was all I felt.

Eat lots of pineapple, take a bath and the big O really does help put you into labor. I was eating pineapple in the bathtub when I went into labor after a long walk lol
