I felt the same way. Too many rings to choose from. Thats why I decided it was the right choice for me to have another ring made. I still have my original but we change as people and styles change and evolve over time. I personally found a lot of pressure was taken off knowing I still had options. It’s not everybodys way of managing it but it sure worked for me. I’m also pretty aware of pricing which is why I found having something custom made to be more affodable then ready made and thats why I have the ability to do it. Your ring really is beautiful and you know if you made the right choice. It just sounds to me like your feeling pressure for the “one forever ring” and that might be realistic for some but it might not be for others, and thats ok! Life is too short. I can say for myself because I designed my first ring I wasn’t as emotionaly attached to it as my wedding band. ( apparently wedding ceremonies do that LOL) so I had the second ring made to fit the current band becuase that I wont switch out.
Hope it helps. Your not stuck with the same ring forever if thats what works for you and your husband.

I finally decided on a simple 1carat solitaire in platinum with a curved diamond band. No sooner than I hit the submit button, I was already thinking “omg are my fingers too chubby for a 1 carat? Should I have got a pavet band? Maybe yellow gold would have been prettier?! Why didn’t I pick a round center stone?!” Hopefully once it arrives I’ll love it.
Whatever you do, stay away from pinterest lol.
It sounds like this is totally normal.. Good luck, sister and congratulations!!
