I think if the pants were a different color, or there was a print, absolutely.

However, if it was a white/cream dress, nope.  That’s just my thought.

If paired with a different color pant and shoes, okay. I would also add probably a scarf or brooch or bright jewelry in some color so it made it even less obvious.

No way to a white/creme dress, but a shirt I think can be fine. Men wear all white shirts all the time.

@cash000 Is it the only thing you own?  If not, pick another color.  Some people won’t care, but some will be horrified.  Don’t risk it.

I think that’s fine. I saw someone with a white shirt and wihte pants at a wedding and I wasn’t a fan, but as long as there’s color somewhere I feel like it’s ok.

@Cash000:  If you put a pretty scarf on w/ it + your non-white pants, you don’t be very white anymore.  Just an idea…

I was kidding, but I’ve been there.  My house burned down a couple of weeks before a friends wedding, and we needed to go buy outfits down to our sox and undies in order to be presentable.

Yes. When you’re the bride.

J/K I think the rule is don’t wear an all white dress.

Assume the bride is crazy and will freak out on you if you do…do you want to risk it?

I know there are a lot of people out there who wouldn’t care but you never know if the bride will. If you’re not worried in the least about offending her then go for it but if you’re already questioning it I’d nix it. Check out goodwill for for a $2.00 top if you have no other options.

Only if the couple to be request it.  Like an all white linen wedding on the beach or something.

I dont think anyone else should be wearing a white dress other than the bride. However, if its cream with like a colorful cardi on top or like a belt etc something to give it another color, then its okay too.

HOWEVER, recently my friend had an outdoor wedding and one of her best friends actually wore a casual white spring dress, and I found that weird..but I guess it was okay because it was pretty casual rather than a fancy white dress…So that was fine too I guess.

Another thing—my mom actually wore a fancy cream colored dress to my sister in laws wedding, and she was pissed off.  I mean my sis in law was soooo adament and kept telling my brother to tell our mom not to wear that cream dress…but my mom still wore it, and yes my sis in law was very angry……

As a result, I just do not wear fancy white or cream colored dresses to other peoples weddings as I fear a bridezilla attack will arise…
