@punky2786:  I was my friends Maid/Matron of Honor and we had to take off her entire gown for her to be able to pee. It was a mermaid gown.

Yup^^ My cousin had a mermaid dress and it took three of us going with her to the potty every time. I seriously considered snatching drinks out of her hand cause I was sick of doing it. 😛
But….. that’s what ‘maids are for! 🙂

haha love this question! well with any wedding dress dont you either have to have people hold up the dress or you to step out of the dress…is there really any other way? lol

@Meant2bMrsC:  Kinda unrelated, but my sister had a fit and flare, and she could pee (the right way) by herself!

I didn’t pee the entire time I had my mermaid dress on! I’m so surprised I never needed to. If I had had to go, I imagine it would have been VERY difficult. I think I would have had to take the whole dress off.

I think if you use the method outlined somewhere else on WB that I can’t find, you should be able to do it. It seems like if you peel the dress up to your waist, completely remove your underwear and straddle the seat backwards, you should be fine

In order for it to be comfortable it should be loose enough to sit down, move, etc. So I’m also assuming that’s loose enough to wriggle it up your hips!

@HisNightOwl2014:  It will be fine! It was a memorable experience, we laugh about that part of her big day. Just make sure you tell your bridesmaids not to rush on the zipper when they get you in and out of it if it comes down to that, we had a snag issue.
