It is in horrible taste…how could you even…my word…

Do what you want!!!  If it looks good together, it looks good together. Don’t do too much Alice in Wonderland (especially if you are influenced by Disney) and you’ll be fine.  Try searching “Alice in Wonderland” on etsy; they have tons of cool stuff that isn’t Disneyfied.

@LostInWonderland:  I say do an idea board with what you’re thinking in your head and see how the colors and themes go together! It’s your wedding, who says you have to stay within certain color limits! 🙂

I think it sounds great!

I think wedding colours really are only there to help get a bit of cohesion going, but you’ve got the alice in wonderland theme already to do that. I like the idea of having alice inspired colours being the guidance but of course you can deviate as much as you want! I second the PP, do a mood board and see how it all looks together. Good luck!

I don’t have a strict color scheme either.  I’m hoping for brown “backgrounds” and lots of bright colors

I’m not having a theme or colour scheme at all, so I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Go for it! I think color schemes are overrated. They are a great starting point, but they are not the end-all  be-all of wedding planning. If things look good together, they can go together, regardless of their color.

Alice in Wonderland is such a colorful world! I think having a strict color scheme would be sacrificing this theme’s potential!

Color scheme schmolor scheme! Who needs it? And you can’t do Alice without red! So don’t worry about the colors. I think as long as you stick to your theme it’ll all work together great!
