Why is it that when I make an appointment I expect people to be on time? It seems like no one sticks to them anymore. I made an Appt at hair salon for 12. To me that means when I walk in at 11:30, she shouldn’t be putting someone else in her chair for a haircut and a blowout. So here I am waiting and this will make me late to the event I have to go to. It just infuriates me.
When I went up to the receptionist to tell her I need to be somwhere at a certain time she rolled her eyes and asked me why I didn’t make my appointment earlier in the day. Hmmm maybe because nothing was available earlier?? Its just one of those days for me…ugh!

Yeah, that’s rude. I completely understand how in some industries it’s inevitable (like, going to the gyno when she has a patient giving birth…yeah….she’s gonna be late!), but a hair appointment? You should be able to plan for that. It’s not like you walked in 20 minutes late and expected them to get you in ASAP.
On another related note, customer service is a completely dead art. I would never DREAM of rolling my eyes at a client, no matter how frustrating they are (and you were NOT frustrating!)

that’s happened to me. it is frustrating. i always like to be on time for appointments too but unfortunately not everyone feels the same.
it only takes one person in the morning to be late and that dictates the scheduling for the rest of the day.

I don’t know. I am one of those people that always show up early.

I HATE being late so I always show up way too early. 90% of the time, the person I have the appt with is running late. It’s very annoying.
