I don’t think it’s lame or outdated to wear the same dress at all. But it’s also nice for each girl to wear a different dress too because then they get to showcase their own individual styles and tastes within certain limits that you choose. So it’s really up to you and the kind of look that you want. I ended up choosing 2 different styles for my 4 bridesmaids. So you still get the same uniformed dress effect in pictures, but having 2 different styles that compliment each other also adds some texture and it still compliments each girl’s body shape. So you get the best of both worlds. I also bought them their accessories as part of their gifts.

I am personally not a fan of mis-matched. like a few PPs have said its a trend so it may look “dated” in a few years and i just have a more traditional style. I love all the differnt styles of dresses you posted though!

I had 13 bridesmaids and picked one of the dresses that can be worn different ways with their straps- the Jenny Yoo Anabelle dress.  Everyone looked together without being overly matchy matchy- especially with such a large amount of girls.  My Maid/Matron of Honor was in a different color- that was the only difference.
