Of course it doesn’t matter.

Yes it’s fine but talk to your priest just to be sure. Every priest has different ideas on what is ok and what isn’t so don’t depend solely on what someone else’s priest allows when that may not be the case with yours. I’m not Catholic but two of my cousins are and when they married, only one person total (out of both sides of a very large wedding party at each) were Catholic while the rest were various Protestant faiths or agnostic.

I’ve been a bridesmaid in a Catholic wedding and I’m not Catholic.   I don’t see a problem with it at all.

Not a problem. I honestly wouldn’t even ask the priest. I have NEVER heard of this being an issue. I realize a lot of parishes vary on issues, but I would be SHOCKED if this were an issue. Your Maid/Matron of Honor and Best Man are really just witnesses to the legal marriage, and this has nothing to do with the sacramental aspect.

It doesn’t matter.  Only 2 of my 5 bridesmaids are Catholic.  I think you need two Catholic witnesses, but that can be anyone, doesn’t have to be Bridesmaid or Best Man or Maid/Matron of Honor.

I have been a bridesmaid in two catholic weddings so I don’t think it would be a problem.  But I would just double check with the priest in case the best man has any responsibilities in the ceremony.  Most of my dad’s family is Greek Orthodox and in our weddings the Maid/Matron of Honor and Best Man must be Greek Orthodox as well because they are part of the religious ceremony.

My Maid/Matron of Honor was Mormon and we had a full Catholoic mass ceremony.  It wasn’t a problem.  Congrats!!!

One of my BM’s is Muslim, 2 are Orthodox Christians (as are my 2 flower girls), and one is Protestant. NOT.ONE.CATHOLIC in the bunch. Innocent
