ummm most of my family wouldn’t say anything because they are smug… just being honest. But my friends let me know and a few of our close older friends did and were excited.

You are probably over thinking but I definitely understand how it is slightly annoying.

Most of my friends and family didn’t tell me when/if they got their invitation… in fact I think only 2 mentioned it. I only know people got them from the RSVPs. If you’re concerned about a few really close friends and family I’d ask, but since your friends received them I’d assume everyone did, so don’t worry too much about it.

Nah. I got a few people who received the actual invite, but Save-The-Date Cards are not that as big a deal (sadly, if you put a lot of effort into them!)–especially to most men (if your Fiance is a man and your’e talking about his male friends). In fact, some of our male friends sort of didn’t understand the concept in the sense that one of them said, “Wait. This is a PRE-invitation to the invitation??”

It might also be that if you’re in mixed company, they don’t want to risk any awkwardness if other people in the group weren’t invited.

Only a handful of people mentioned ours.
