  • poll: Is it ok with you if your SO gets a strip show or lap dance from a woman other than a stripper?

    Yes, I trust my SO.

    Yes, but only if I know the woman doing the stripping/lap dance.

    Yes, but only if I'm there with him.

    No, he can only get a lap dance or strip show from a stripper.

    No, my SO can't interact with any woman in that way aside from me.

    @anahappilyeverafter:  Well said, each relationship is different and each couple needs to decide for themselves 🙂 There is certainly a lot of heat on this issue, and in another strippers thread it was the girls who are not ok with their SOs looking at strippers (not blaming the strippers) getting critized. Whatever works for each relationship is the right way for them 🙂 Nobody should be judged for that unless it is causing harm to someone else.

    I used to not care before Fiance and I got serious…now I do. I don’t want him to get one from a stripper, but he still might on his bachelor party.

    What does price have to do with it? And who cares whether we (I, he) knows the woman – if it’s not with me, it’s still cheating.

    @bunnyharriet:  In my book, no, that makes me uncomfortable, paid or not!  I don’t think he’d like it much anyway to be honest.  He’s never been to a strip club.  He’s a weird dude.  But I love him!

    @Jacqui90:  thank you.  My partner and i are very liberal and it’s works for us.  I get that it doesn’t work for others just as some other people’s relationships would not work for us.  I may be ok with strippers, others trying to chat up my girlfriend, even other lesbians trying the moves on her in nightclubs when they have just been introduced to me as her gf, but see if you cross that line and even suggest you are going home with my gf or disrespect our relationship and our commitment to one another….? Bitch, I claw your eyes out. ;). Thats our boundary.  different things for different people 😀

    @kes18:  This.

    From a stripper in any setting: Fine. She’s has no interest in him and is doing it for the money, I am not threatened.

    From a non-stripper for free: Not OK, she must have some motivation (like being into him) other than money and whatever it is it makes me uncomfortable.

    @bunnyharriet:  Why? They’re just boobs. It’s not like she’s actually rubbing them in his face. Shes purposefully making an ass out of herself to bring comedy to an embarrassing moment.

    And she’s not a bitch, shes one of the best friends I’ve ever had in my entire life.

    @anahappilyeverafter:  Oh, one thing that got lost in our conversation: I wasn’t commenting on women who find strippers ok in general. My point was about women who say strippers are fine, BECAUSE they are just doing their job. I said by the same logic then hookers are also fine because they too are doing their job. Then why is that unacceptable? My issue was with the BUSINESS part of the argument, not the stripper part.

    If it was a friend I would be weird out.  If it was from a professional dancer then I’m all for it.

    SO and I watch Poor Man’s bikini beach and I enjoy watching it as the ladies are very supple and gorgeous.
