Is it OK to wear white with a floral pattern bottom as a guest?

I wouldn’t wear it.  The all white top is too much and the top is what will be visible when seated, in pics, etc.  Unless intend on wearing a cardigan or shrug of a different color at all times, I would pass.

I’m going to take some heat for this one…But no…I’d personally be offended that youd be wearing white to my wedding. I know some people arent as traditional as i am, but thats just how i feel. The day is about the bride and groom and let her be the only one in white.

Personally, I think the dress is pretty, but this can be kinda touchy. I’d try to find something similar – whatever elements you like best – and go with something that doesn’t have white as a substantial component. It’s not worth the possibility of upsetting someone, IMO

I wouldn’t care but based on the posts here some brides would, so either put a cardigan or shrug over it or choose something else.

I agree with adding a colorful shawl or cardigan for the no-white sticklers.

mpbeall :  I would only wear it if it will be cool enough to top with a light sweater or something.

It’s a beautiful dress and doesn’t, in any way, resemble a wedding dress. I think it’s fine. I agree with those saying to wear some colorful jewelry on top or a brightly colored shawl that pulls in the colors at the bottom of the dress. Then, you can be more covered for the ceremony and then maybe drop the shawl during the dancing/celebration at the reception.

I’d say you’re totally fine to wear it! I’d add a colorful statement necklace or cardigan with it to help take away from the white a bit but it’s beautiful

I’d be ok with this if someone wore it to my wedding.

I wouldn’t mind if I was the bride but many posters here do, so perhaps its not the best choice? The solid white top might look a bit much in photos from the waist up xo

Agree with a statement necklace for a bit of colour on top. The dress is fine to me.
