@jackiebee:  I mean… it’s not unheard of. But that’d mean that (1) your last period wasn’t a period and was instead some other bleeding or (2) you ovulated and conceived during your period. are you tracking ovulation with basal body temps?

Was it a blue dye test? Those are notorious for hard to read results/evaps/dye runs. Do you have a pic of your previous tests taken during the correct time window?

I don’t trust blue dye tests but that pink dye test is definitely positive. You can ask your doctor to do follow up blood work to track the progress of the pregnancy if your doctor offers that.

@jackiebee:

It could have been implantation bleeding.

@jackiebee:  oh yeah that red dye test is definetly positive. I’m guessing the bleeding you had was not a period. Congrats!

Yeah, those definitely look positive. Bleeding can happen during pregnancy — not “normal’, but common.

That pink test looks definitely positive to me!  One of my pregnancies was discovered during what I fully thought was my period.  Light/heavy is all relative, so it’s hard to say what is definitely period vs. other pregnancy bleeding.  I knew someone else who also had what she compeletely took to be her period before learning she was pregnant.  Hoping for a solid confirmation from your doctor!

@jackiebee:  Aww bee I am so sorry to hear this. Have you had an ultrasound to confirm ectopic or that the pregnancy has resovled? This is very important for your health and wellbeing. Thinking of you.
