so I’m not exactly sure on how they dip rings but this ring is part wood and part silver..I want the silver to be pink 🙁 and don’t want to pay $900 for the rose gold version when I already know the wood will need to be replaced eventually.
Is it possible to get it looking like rose
gold (and I don’t care about how often I have
to get it redone) without ruining the wood.

Yeah I’d say it’s possible. It’s just a matter of finding a jeweler that has rose gold plating. You would have to have it replated every couple of months and it’s probably not cheap so it might be worth it to just buy the rose gold version.

I would say price both options out, but you’re probably best to purchase new. The dipping process and gold itself is not cheap. Having it already done in your style is way less expensive than creating a one off. It’s not like the common rhodium dipping they do to white gold, where it’s always ready and available [because that’s how white gold rings end up in the finishing process].
