I recently turned 31 and have started to notice couple fine lines under each eye. I noticed them slightly couple months ago but they weren’t very noticeable. Now they are very obvious compared to before and I’m sort of freaking out. I don’t have any wrinkles anywhere else on my face and currently only wear spf and a moisturizer all over my face and apply a tiny amount of it under my eyes.
I’ve considered going to a skincare counter and buying an anti aging eye cream or serum but if there’s a natural solution I’d rather not go the chemical route. Couple google searches brought up many different oils but none of them have reviews to state how effective they really are. My fear is that I’ll make things worse but applying random things under my eyes.
Any bees use a natural/DIY method to prevent and correct under eye line lines? I’m also open to learning about what eye creams/serums are effective if you don’t go the natural route. I’d love to hear what ingredients, facial exercises, dietary changes, tips and tricks you use to keep the under eye area smooth!

I use the Caudalie SOS Morning Eye Rescue. It’s really great for puffiness, but not so much for lines. I’m thinking of switching myself so I will follow this 🙂

You can try a tiny bit of vitamin E or jojoba oil, and layer Aquaphor over it at nighttime. It’ll help keep the area hydrated and make the lines less visible, plus it’s a good preventative measure, but the only thing that will physically reduce the lines is a low concentration retin-A product made specifically for the under eye area.
I personally use Shiseido moisturizer and sometimes I dab Aquaphor on the under eye area, sometimes under makeup too.

I’m 25 this year and have had fine lines under my eyes since I was 19. I’d almost like some puffiness because it might fill them out haha! If anyone has any suggestions I’d REALLY like to here them.

I myself have done some recent internet searching for things to use to reduce undereye dark circles and have seen a lot of suggestions to reduce wrinkles as well. It seems that a lot suggest a vitamin A cream. You should check out Pinterest also. I saw a lot of DIY stuff you could try. I am going to try pure vitamin E oil for my dark circles.

bluesparkles: I find that keeping up a good skincare routine does wonders, I notice them more when my skin is dry. I’ve used a baking soda mask to exfoliate and i’ve noticed that helps too. Wearing makeup also makes mine more noticable.

Olive oil is great massage oil for your skin. It is a good source of antioxidants, like vitamins A and E, which fight skin-damaging free radicals. Regularly massaging olive oil onto the affected skin area will moisturize, repair and even regenerate skin cells. As the oil penetrates deep into the skin, it provides long-lasting protection and keeps it moisturized.

It’s amazing what being fully hydrated can do 🙂 try drinking about a gallon of water a day and see how clear your face looks and wrinkle free in about two weeks.

Since turning 25 I invested in a Clarisonic Opal which I have read great reviews about online. I have only used it for a few months but so far so good.

I know this thread is a few days old, but I wanted to chime in and say argan oil is worth a shot. Don’t buy the hyped up josie maran product. You can get it online for loads cheaper, as long as you stick to cold pressed virgin (don’t accidently buy the type made for cooking!). My co-worker uses it and she’s a few years older than me (I’m 32) and her skin is perfect. It’s good for hands, face, hair, really anywhere on your body.

Dermalmd under eye serum helps me remove the fine lines and puffiness on my eyes and my sister told me that my skin looks so much better now. dermalmd is such a great brand because their products do exactly what it should do and it even exceeded my expectations.

My husband and I are both in our 30s. We use Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream. It’s like $9 on Amazon and lasts a few months. Just a little dab will do since it spreads easily. It is a miracle cream!! My problem is dark circles, his is bags, and both of our problems have visibly reduced after probably 6 months of use. We use it religiously at night (and he applies in the morning as well). It’s easy to use because it feels good going on. We bought some for the whole family. I tried using all the other products in the brand after seeing such great results but everything else makes me break out. Swear by that repair eye cream though!!!
