Just curious to see if any bees lost 20 pounds in 1 month without starving themselves. If so, what did you do? Was it more nutrition or exercies for you?

No, it’s not.
I have lost 10 pounds in two weeks, but I have been buring over 1000 cals a day with excercise and eating like a saint.
I don’t expect to match that loss for the next two weeks though, so I would say 20 pounds is a bit excessive. (Unless you are very heavy, in which case it MAY be possible.)
No, no no. Insanity. Maybe if you cut off part of a limb…
It’s not really healthy to lose more than a couple of pounds a week (especially if you want to maintain).
Not healthily and not in a way that’s sustainable.
ETA: I do think that if you’re starting from a very, very high weight, it might be possible just because pounds roll off pretty quickly in the beginning. But otherwise, no.
no it took me 3 i was running and swimming but still eating regularly eating fruits and veggies from my garden and then i ended up loing 40 in 6 months
I have lost 11 pounds in just a week in a half. So I might be able to lose 20 in a month! I count my calories with MyFitnessPal. I walk my dogs everday for 30-45 minutes and I’m also a server so I am running around at work all day. I cut out soda and I eat a lot of chicken, veggies, and some fruit.
No way. Not in any way that’s healthy. 10 pounds is more realistic, but would still require very strict exercise and dieting.
There’s no way to lose 20 lbs in a month in a healthy way, unless you’re having a giant tumor removed or giving birth.
Yes it is. But you can’t expect that all of the weight you lose will be fat. A big portion is water weight. Did you know humans can go about 3 weeks without a single piece of food? If you’re looking to lose weight, I would suggest you look into a juice fast. You’ll feel very hungry at the beginning because you’re probably used to eating atleast 3 meals a day, but after the first week you’ll realize that the hunger “pains” are just psychological. Plus it’s a great way to reset any cravings you normally experience so you don’t get them anymore, it’s a great way to detox your body and clean out your colon(a big majority of weight is because of the junk in the trunk), and you’ll pump your body full of tons of vitamins and nutrients which can help hair, nails, skin, etc. When you come off the juice fast you’ll want to change your diet towards healthy foods like vegetables, lean meats, nuts beans and seeds, and fruits.
I lost 15lbs with eating proper portions and just going for walks so if you work you butt off I am sure you can. It also depends on how much you have to loose if you need to loose 100lbs vs 20lbs. If you weight 135lbs to loose 20lbs is much harder to loose 20lbs when you weight 200lbs.
It is, yeah: http://www.buzzfeed.com/carolynkylstra/this-is-gonna-hurt
Yeah, it’s possible. Restrict calories like crazy, restrict salt, drink tons of water, and do tons of cardio. Don’t expect to keep it off, though, or for it to show significantly in your body besides some fat reduction.
It took me 8 months to lose 16 lbs (10% of my body weight)… and I’ve been stuck at that ever since. You’d have to be really really dedicated to eating healthy and workout out. It’s best to do 1-2/lbs a week.
(This obviously changes depending on what % of your body weight 20lbs is. And from what point you’re starting from… i was eating relatively healthy before i started.)
