Allison & Paul’s Gift Registry 360
I have just started my registry with registry360 and i also just read the fine print. They take a commission on every purchase. there is no info on the site about how much my guests will be paying to buy me gifts on top of the purchase price. Also I have donations to charity on my reg and i am worried they may take a commission on them. My Fiance is in the uk and i am in ny and the wedding is in the uk and we are very unique in our tastes so being able to have items from different stores is a nice idea. I am waiting to hear back about the charges.
Is it right to use a registry service like registry360 when they charge my guests a commission and take a commission on charitable donations?

I’m not familiar with Registry360.
Couldn’t you just register at a variety of stores without their help and put them all on your wedding website to avoid the commission dilemma?

I wouldn’t be too stoked on that… I’m sure some of the other bees can suggest money registries that don’t have fees associated…

Oh, and if you have actual gifts on there from various stores, I used amazon’s universal registry to add these types of things. One of my friends was saying just the other day that it even had a feature that she really liked that you could mark off gifts yourself as “bought elsewhere”. We had some camping equipment on there, that for sure I was open to people finding it wherever it was cheapest!
