It’s pretty standard for the majority of guests to arrive by coach (bus or van) as it’s standard for the wedding party, family and honored guests to arrive by special transport. I think it’s perfectly fine to do it however you choose!

No, separate transport is not rude at all. Like you said, they have other duties and need to arrive earlier than the guests.
