Personally I wouldn’t wear it with a wedding dress. It takes away and is distracting

if Chanel is “your thing” then go for it. however, I feel like since you’re questioning it, it could be a regret in wedding pics

I wouldn’t say it’s tacky so much that it just seems, yes, as PP said, “distracting”.  I think a simpler necklace would be lovely.

I also wouldn’t use the word tacky but I don’t think it’s really suitable to wear on your wedding day.

I don’t see how it is tacky. It’s a lovely necklace, but if you’re having second thoughts, choose a simpler necklace, and save that one for the honeymoon!

I was thinking “only if it has a visible logo” as I clicked this thread, but unfortunately, it does.

@Allymee3:  Not necessarily tacky, but not something I’d wear on my wedding day. I adore Chanel jewelry (esp. vintage), but I’d don the pearls for the reception if I really had my heart set on wearing them.

I personally don’t care to wear designer logos. So, I’m satisfying my Chanel love with a clutch (or two). 😉

I wouldn’t call it tacky, but I also wouldn’t personally want my wedding photos to look like chanel ads…

Agree with PPs.  I don’t think a designer necklace is ever tacky, but I wouldn’t wear something with a logo on it on my wedding day.

I don’t think the double C’s are big enough to be distracting.  I also think it depends on the rest of your outfit. I think it’s a beautiful necklace and if I had it I might wear it myself. Wink
