My heart is set on a fall/outdoor wedding. We both love to fall and plan on having the reception and ceremony at a friends house which over looks the water. I’m asking for opinions on whether or not 10-20 is too cold for an outside wedding in Maryland….HELP !!!

@CaseynAllan: Coul be, especially in the water. Check out the historic temperatures for that date, and make your decision. If its just the ceremony for a short time, it can absolutely be OK, but the entire reception too? With tents with drop down sides and portable heaters, you would be fine. You could also be in the middle of Indian summer temps too, and it might be perfectly comfortable.

October is such a toss up. I can remember throughout the years having thin Next-to-nothing costumes on for Halloween and beung bundled up because snow was forecasted. I agree with PP, check historical records and be sure to make plans to keep guests warm. It would be nice to let your guests know they may want to bring a jacket or coat in your enclosure card.
