wow. she can’t demand that you throw her 2 showers and 2 bach parties. she can’t even demand that you throw her one! It’s nice that you consider her thoughts about the bachelorette party but its you guys that are PAYING for it. You are right, the bride doesn’t plan it, its up to the bridesmaids. Honestly if she is going to throw a fit about going out then leave her home and you girls go out and have a good time. It is astounding that she would do any of that. I’m mad for you! I wouldn’t drop out, but at the same time, I wouldn’t change the plans you already made. She can’t make you throw her jack.

Tough cookies to her. Was she so selfish and rude before? A situation like this really makes you rethink friendships.

If you don’t feel comfortable standing up with her at her wedding, you should probably step down.  If you think she is just acting out because of the wedding and you want to retain a friendship in the future, I would not step down.  If you do, you should fully expect to never speak to her again, so make sure you make your decision with the long term results in mind.  I’m sorry she is being such a crappy bride.
