I do think it is beautiful!

Don’t worry about the size, it will go nicely with an eternity or half eternity wedding band!

I think it is beautiful! I don’t think the size should matter too much. It is a gorgeous ring and you are getting married!!!! Which is really what is important.

Also, I know if I expressed wanted a larger stone and if I expressed that to my Fiance I know it would upset him because he worked really hard and searched all over to get me the ring that he did. I LOVE love love my ring, but the thought that my Fiance put into it makes me love it that much more!

I think it looks fine.  I have a size 8.5-9 finger and my solitaire is 0.3 carat.  I think my hand is about the same size as yours.  What I did is I got a diamond wrap that will encase my solitaire on both sides once it is sodered, so once we’re married I don’t think I will notice at all how small my engagement ring is because of the wedding band.

No offense to wedding bee  but lots of the rings on here are not the norm so try not to compare yourself . I think it is a very nice ring and looks great on you.

It looks beautiful on you. When I was a Size 7, I wore a .75 which is about the same. I never felt it was small at all. I loved that ring to death.

aviatorgirl:  No! It’s beautiful! As everyone has said, it’s only too small if it’s too small for you. The balance between the stone and band is perfect, I love the curve of the band and it looks like a lovely stone. They’ve done a great job with those delicate prongs.

Your hand doesn’t look big in the photo so I don’t think the ting is affecting perception of your hand size. Do you like it better in the mirror and in photographs?  It sounds nuts but I appreciate my ring more when I see it in a mirror or photograph than when I look down on it

aviatorgirl:  I have bigger hands too so thats why wanted a halo that offered a little more ‘coverage’ than a solitare. but would still be affordable for my DH. I think your solitate is lovely and classic and I wouldnt say too small AT ALL but if you want a little more bling maybe get a diamond wedding band or an enhancer?

I really like it, By The Way

What matters most is what the ring means, not how many carats it is.

It is not too small; it looks beautiful on your hand.

But even if you thought it was too small, what would the solution be? You said he could not afford to buy a 1 carat ring, so if he cannot afford to go bigger, then what would the solution be if you thought it too small? He can’t afford more, so why fret over what isn’t possible? I was married with a .26 carat diamond. We could not afford that, let alone anything more, but once he put the rings on my finger, I was just as married as the person with a 3 carat diamond. It isn’t the ring that matters in the long run.

All it matters is what you think. If you’re talking if it’s too small for your hands, I do feel that it’s a bit small for your ring size. But the the ring is timeless and classic. It’s a keeper.

I think it’s beautiful, but it only matters what YOU think, no one else.
