(Closed) Is it too soon to send out my STD’s?

We sent ours out about 6 months before the wedding.

i’m getting married a month after you and we are in the process of ordering ours right now. plan to send them early-mid june. i’ve already had people asking where they were, as we have a large number of out of town (and state) guests.

I don’t think its too early, though it is on the early side.  If you have a lot of outta towners, it can’t hurt to give them a heads up.  The guidebooks I’ve read suggest doing it between 12-8 months.

Last July I got an STD for a wedding this June. As long as you’re sure on the guest list, send away.

I stuck to the 6 month rule. I think it gives people more than enough time to make plans!

Not too soon! We are getting married the day before you and we’ll be sending ours out within the next few weeks.

Normally, I’d wait until closer to 6 months or so, but with how close it is to Christmas and New Years, I think people will appreciate the extra notice!

I say stick to the 6 months out rule.  You don’t want to get the side-eye from some of your guests lol.  Besides if you wait for the 6 month mark you can also send them hotel accommodation information, which will be helpful.

Not too soon at all.  Just make sure your guest list is final.
