If its DB, can they order in a smaller size? And… Do you know anyone who has used your DB for alterations? I read some good, some bad reviews on WB about alterations at Davids Bridal.

I bought my dress as a sample size 8 and they’re taking it in to size 2 no problem. It’s also a corset back

That dress doesn’t look too bad to alter.  I bought my dress in a size 10 and it was falling off me.  I had it altered down to a street size 2.  This was a shot at my first fitting – dont mind the pulling at the hips, she pinned it down bring it in a bit more.  This wasn’t a corset back.

I think it will be fine. Is that an Essence of Australia dress? I love it!

well, i know this is not ‘real life,’ but on say yes to the dress, they have brought down dresses more than 10 sizes, but it costs them about $1000 in alterations to basically reconstruct the dress. so, it’s possible, but it’s expensive!
