Lol I understand!!  I do love my engagement ring alone, and I love my band alone…but lately I’m not loving them together 🙁 I don’t know that it’s the same thing as you, but I get it haha

totally understandable.  maybe sometimes wear them on different hands so you’re not cheating on either lol and you get to change up the look a bit

I do, too. Some days, I wear my rings on separate hands so I can look at them on their own, sometimes stacked. It depends on my mood and what I’m doing that day.

My rings don’t “go” together in the traditional sense, though, and I like the versatility of two rings that can be stacked or stand on their own.

I understand! I actually offered not to have a wedding band because I really love my ering on its own.  However, Darling Husband (thenFI) objected because he wanted a wedding band to give me on the wedding day.  I do like the way they look together now and wouldn’t want to not have a wedding band now, because of what it means to me.  But I do love the way my ering looks on it’s own. 🙂

@MerryWidow:  I feel the exact same way and you said it perfectly.

As a result, I usually wear my engagement ring alone when I’m at home and add my wedding band whenever I leave the house. Darling Husband doesn’t seem to mind this.

I’m not a fan of your wedding band with your ring. It seems to overpower the engagment ring. I like it better alone

I LOVE my engagement ring on it’s own. It got noticed a lot more when it was worn alone than now, when it’s worn with the band for some reason. Strange.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder….. Every time I have to take my ring in for something (sizing or whatever) I always love it SO much more when I get it back!

I totally understand. I actually only wear my ering 75% of the time. Husband doesnt mind so I  like switching it up:)
