If you’re already working 30 hours a week, depending on how much you make, I think you should be able to swing by without a second job, especially since you also groom dogs as a side job. I say the best way to save up money is curb your expenses. Refrain from clothes/shoe shopping (not saying you do but a lot of ladies see their money fly that way), and put a budget on groceries, gas, entertainment, etc.

Once wedding planning kicks into full gear it does become kind of exhausting, so having a second job means you won’t be able to provide your full attention towards planning.

So, you’re in school, moving house, working 30 hours a week, getting married and starting a clothing line? Honestly, I think you need to take a step back and prioritise and THEN talk to Fiance about how you’re going to come up with the money for the things you want to do.

Why don’t my and Fiance mame a post-wedding budget and write up your goals. So you need $XX to live on monthly… Do you have enough without the extra job. Then figure out your financial goals… Save $XX per month and in a year you will have enough $ for __ trip, etc. Be logical and work it out between the two of you and you should be able to figure something out

My wedding is about as far away as yours and honestly, it takes next to no time. I’m not entirely sure what kind of planning I’m supposed to be doing but the wedding takes up none of my time. Perhaps someone could let me know what I’m in for or what I’m missing…?!?

Your Fiance clearly thinks you need more money so you need to address his concerns. Saying you need free time won’t address those concerns. What hours does he work? Can’t he do the planning?
