I think EVERY bride feels this way at some point or another. Planning a wedding is a stressful time!

The FH and I looked into eloping…if you go as just the two of you – it’s cost effective.  If you are going to bring people with you – it gets just as expensive.  If you want to forgo the party when you return, then it’s all worth it.  Remember, this is about YOU and the love of your life.  Do what makes you BOTH happy.

I have felt that way, off and on.  I think that the stress from organizing such a big event gets to all of us.  Can you try to delegate some of the work to others?

@aprilsixteenth: I am totally feeling this right now. I know it’s because we’re trying to hash out our final guest list and the dreaded children or no children debate. Please shoot me now.

Nope. Not wrong at all. Weddings = insanity. Don’t beat yourself up too much, eh? 🙂

I’m not even engaged yet and I think this EVERY DAY! My grandfather doesn’t fly, and he’s the only person I want more than anything to walk me down the isle – so a destination wedding is out. My father situation is beyond ridiculous and my mom and my “dad” are not to be trusted in the same setting together anyways. We probably will be getting married in Vegas so that may exclude some of my favorite people based on money alone… ugh. Just so much hassle for one day, and it’s supposed to be about you and your husband!

I hope that your day goes off beautifully and that any issues will be minor. Just remember to see the bigger picture of the whole day and try not to let anything get you down. 🙂
