agree with the others, the dress itself is cute but the drop waist is not working for you. you probably need a natural waist dress.

Yes, nothing more to add really as I agree with everybody else re the style. I think you are born to wear a natural waist flowy dress with your petite body  type.

I agree with what others are saying, that it doesn’t flatter your figure. I can tell you have a nice waist but it’s not showing that off, and the drop waist is making your hips look wider than I’m sure they are. It’s making your proportions look off.

There’s also a lot going on. I like some ruffles or some bling, but generally one or the other. And this is A LOT of both.

I’d say keep looking, maybe there’s something more balanced in terms of embelishment. But more importantly, something that flatters your cute figure! 🙂

I love the dress, I just don’t think the shape suits you it makes your body look wide and legs short.

You’ve got such a bombshell hourglass figure—just really gorgeous. I agree with those who say a natural waist dress would showcase your beauty better.

I think you could find something more flattering – maybe a tiered kind of dress.

spbee:  hi lovely. You have a beautiful figure. I voted with alterations however if you haven’t been a “dim wit” like I have and rushed in and gone with the first dress you try then I think there may be something better out there for you…. I LOVE love love this and think it would be beautiful accentuates the waist but has a floaty fishtail and would compliment an hour glass figure xxx

I wouldn’t call it tacky (personal taste in dresses for me sits out of the tacky judgement arena) buy indont like the style personally.

There’s too much going on and it swamps your frame. You might be better with a dress that is simpler or with smaller detailing.

cc63016:  I agree with the others – the dress is fine, but if that’s the style you want you’d be better off with something that flares out from higher up, like these:

    Jasmine Collection

    Stella York

    Mori Lee

You have a short-ish waist so I think you suit a drop waist to lengthen your torso – but just not so dropped a waist that it cuts you in half at the thighs. These dresses would still show off your waist without cutting you off:

    Jasmine Collection

    Essense

    Stella York

    Maggie Sottero

Alternatively, you could maybe look at a dress that doesn’t have a defined waistline at all, which will really help you look taller. Some dresses like this can still look quite fitted and sexy:

    Essense

    Stella York

I forgot a few more – check out Demetrios if what you want is a blingy dress with floaty bits at the bottom:
