It looks great on you! The fit looks perfect which is classy.

If you are concerned (I think it looks so petty) you could

wear your hair up in an elegant style and maybe do delicate

looking pearls of some sort with your jewelry. Honestly, I’ve been in many weddings in which the dresses varied a lot in

cost and styles. What was memorable was how well the

dress flattered the bride and her hair & make up. Its more

aboit the overall look.

I think your dress looks quite beautiful and does not look cheap. I suspect that the quality of your cell phone picture isn’t doing it real justice. I’m curious: what’s the back like?

katy498:  It’s your opinion that matters, not ours! If you think it’s flashy and cheap, keep looking. You should love your dress.

katy498:  Oops sorry to be unclear! I love the one you just posted as your dream dress—although I am biased because I love lace & got a dress similar to that one. I think you should go with whatever makes you feel most beautiful/comfortable though, because it’s your wedding day 🙂

katy498:  You and me both, sister!  Except I haven’t pulled the trigger on a replacement.  I think I’m going to try to just love the original.  I think it’s easy to get VERY confused in this process!

I really love the look of a corset so I think the back is very beautiful!

I like to think I’m a bit pragmatic about things. (Or at least I try to be.) Just because one dress is less expensive than the other doesn’t mean that it’s cheap. Nobody is going to know how much you paid for a dress unless you tell them. So really it comes down to how you feel about things.

I personally think your first dress is a great dress with many similarities to your similar one. What does your dream dress have that your current dress doesn’t? And will there be time to order your dream dress (can you put in a rush order for example)? What will you do with your other dress if you buy your dream dress? Would you want to sell it for example (and if so, would you want to put in the time and effort to sell it)? And the most obvious question: can you afford that dream dress?

But you don’t look cheap or flashy at all in your current dress!

I LOVE this dress (the one you posted first) and it looks great on you! Would you mind sharing the name of the designer? I am currently in the hunt for my *perfect* dresss as well. Sigh.. PS I think beading photographs quite well at weddings.
