That is a gorgeous dress. I’m of the opinion that no dress is too formal for a bride, rock it!

@Ellyson:  Exactly!

I love the “formalness” (not sure if that’s even a word…lol) of a bridal gown against the casualness of the beach! What a beautiful contradiction!

@Ellyson:  Yep, another +1 to what she said. You are THE BRIDE. Nothing is ‘too’ anything. It can’t be too formal, too sexy, too poofy, too anything – if you love it, wear it. You only get one shot at this, so make it count.

The dress seems a bit heavy for the beach (assumming you’ll be on the sand and barefoot).  It is pretty though and ultimately your decision.

If you love it you should totally rock it! I am wearing a ‘non traditional’ beach dress to my wedding. You should do what makes you happy!

I would rock this dress in a dumpster or a ballroom, because it is gorgeous. Seriously, if you love it, GO FOR IT! Since you’re the bride you don’t have to worry too much about looking “out of place” like a guest would.

I’d love a beach wedding and will definitely get a very formal dress! I don’t think it matters as long as you’re happy with it. 🙂
