The length is really close on my dress but I’m wondering if it’s SLIGHTLY short? Or is that how it should be? I’m wondering if when it’s steamed it’ll lay down a little better and be the right length. How does it look to you ladies?

Thats the exact lengh I want my dress, i dont want it grazing the floor getting stepped on on the dance floor etc. I vote that’s your dress is the perfect length

@Puppy Love: are you wearing the shoes you plant to wear on the wedding day? It does hover slightly above the ground but that’s all preference. I prefer my dress to just touch the ground so my shoes don’t show but my cousin had her dress shortened in the front so her shoes would show (she added rhinestones to them so she said she wanted to show off her hard work lol)

I personally think it is perfect. I hate it when the gown touches the ground in front. If that lace was on the ground, it wouldn’t look as pretty.

@IzzyBear: Yes, those are the shoes I’ll be wearing. I’m hoping since the crinoline was super crunched underneath that it will be just a half inch or so longer once it’s steamed.
I think it’s just my super perfectionism rearing it’s ugly head again, pretty sure I need a woo-sa moment. 🙂

It’s perfect! That’s the exact length my dress was hemmed to so it wouldn’t drag, get stepped on, or trip me!

@Puppy Love: I think it looks perfect! You will rock!

It looks fine. It shouldn’t be dragging on the ground but you don’t want to see feet either, so you’re right in the middle.

Nopee! It’s perfect. And I’m a perfectionist too. Relax 🙂

My dress seemed a bit short too…it really annoyed me and I hated how it was but once I started wearing the dress all day, It stretched out and layed nicer and I even ended up tripping on the front of my dress by the reception.

As long as you are wearing the shoes you will be wearing the day of. I think the length is perfect!

@Puppy Love: I think you’re fine. My dress just came in and was super poofy because the crinoline is so new. I think once the crinoline settles a bit it will be the length you seem to be looking for.
