The Heck? Never heard of this.  My dad was a police officer, he wore a normal gold wedding band. Also, of all the police officers I worked with over the years I never once saw any of them wear a band like this, lol wow. Just because something is black and blue doesnt automatically make it “police”. I’m guessing this is an American thing?

justyourbasicpumpkinluvr :  Thin blue line is a huge thing amongst police officers and those who support them. If I saw someone with this ring, I would probably assume they were a police officer. However, thin blue line is not solely reserved for POs.

Yes Thin Blue Line is a thing, and it does mean either I Am A Cop or I Support The Cops.

I think that for a cop to get that wedding band might be okay. Understandable anyway. But a guy who is not a cop, it just seems like the wedding band should mean “I am committed to my wife” , it just seems a strange and inappropriate way to say “I Support Cops”.

I support cops too, but I have a sticker on my car window, I am not expressing it with my wedding ring, which means “I married this guy and he is the one for me”

Well it does look kind of ‘Star Warsy!” As long as all is agreed upon and since the ring is liked by both of you, then there isn’t any harm.
