I started trying to make a monogram, figuring I would use it in a few places at the wedding (maybe favour tags, a tag on the bubbles we pass out, etc), but I ended up designing this cute little ‘logo’. I have a cat, my FI is from the town where Rottweilers originate from, and our nicknames for each other are the cutesy terms for cat/dog in German.
However, while I think it is a cute logo -i’m concerned it might seem out of place with the rest of the theme of my wedding. Its going to be pretty formal and elegant and the reception is up on a mountain. Our other paper products have elegant swooshes, etc. Do you think this will seem out of place, or will people just be like ‘aww that’s cute”?
My mother’s opinion was “well as long as it has meaning to you…” which I’m not sure was completely comforting lol.

I think I’m in the aww cute category. I love the cat!

I’m with your mom – your wedding should be about you, not generic elegance.

If I was a guest I would probably think it was a little random.. but not bad.

I think as long as your keep it solid – even black – it keeps it more elegant and formal and less cutesy.
Use it sparingly on things that are already “cutesy” like bubbles and I’m certain it will look just fine!

I think this is really cute! Will your guests get it?

I like it. Again, as long as you keep it that solid black it will not look too out of place.

Aww, FI just laughed at it, and said I should save it, but not use it for the wedding 🙁
Guess its back to the drawing board! But thanks for the opinions guys!!
