Hi bees! As Darling Husband and i have been discussing TTC, i have been lurking these boards. Well, we are officially trying. I am very excited as is he. We have been together for 10 years, married for most one and it’s about that time to start a family. Well here’s why I’m posting. I haven’t started really teacking anything yet since I am truly at the beginning of my TTC journey. However, I am at the end of my “fertile days” according to my cycle. We DTD a week ago and then on Wednesday. I was either about to ovulate or on that day. Anyway, as of today, I’ve been cramping, a little lightheaded and at dinner I felt like I had to throw up. Normally I eat my entire plate of food (i love food haha!) but today I couldn’t even finish half of it. I have very watery CM today (sorry if that is TMI) but I wondered if my mind is just trying to play with me or what. Is it really too early to think anything? Of course I would be so happy if I am pregnant but I need to be realistic and know if maybe I need to pump my brakes and not jump to conclusions. Thanks so much ladies!

It would be too early to be experiencing symptoms. When you start TTC, every single thing your body does or does not do will make you think that you are pregnant. If your period is late, pee on a stick. Otherwise, keep going about your life and don’t give it any thought.

Unfortunately every single thing that can be wrong with a woman seems to have the same symptoms :-. I didn’t start experiencing any symptoms until my 7th week. But, everyone is different. I’d personally say it’s too early but I’m not a doctor and you’re the only one who knows your body. Good luck

Your mind will definitely play tricks on you when you want to get pregnant! It happened to me too, and those were the months I wasn’t pregnant. The month I did get pregnant, I had put it out of my mind as it was a busy month and we didn’t really have time to BD. I waited until my period was late before I started to take note of symptoms (which for me were feeling really cold, heavy breasts, and early premenstrual cramps that made me feel for sure my period was coming early that month). When my period never arrived, I tested after I was one week late and immediately got a strong positive.
Once I got my BFP at about 5 weeks, I began having symptoms a few days later (cramping/abdominal discomfort and extreme fatigue and sleepiness).
Best of luck to you, and I agree with what others have said, don’t focus on it too much if you can- try to stay busy and active with your regular life and have fun with it!

Your mind is your worst enemy when you’re ttc. Then when I really was pregnant I felt no different. I knew I was about to start my period. Good luck on your ttc journey!!!

My mind was officially going crazy. Got a BFN this morning and AF came a little after that. First month of TTC is over and now I will no longer look for possible symptoms! I’m gonna just live my life. 😛
