@RahlyRah:  Only thing I would maybe change is go for a solid colored rug, but in the same colors. Only because everything else appears to have a pattern and it could help balance it out.

@subtlebee:  Looks good s far. Love the yellow and blue. The chair doesn’t quite fit in though I get why it’s in there

Yeah I would go solid for rug. Way to many patterns.

I think it looks great.  The only thing that bothers me is that the chair isn’t pure white, but that’s just because I’m nuts!

@RahlyRah:  I do like the idea of the rug being in your lovely blue. hmmm a simple stripe would work…or even a plush solid blue. then when he is older he can do tummy time on the soft rug (covered with a blanket of course!)

in general i love it and it makes me happy

I like it! Babies LOVE color contrast and interesting prints, so I think your baby will LOVE their nursery!

PS- I work in infant care… So I feel pretty qualified to speak to what babies like!

I think it will look great. Then again, I love contrasting colours and patterns haha. Not too busy to me 🙂 Especially for a babies room!

It looks great!! They say babies are better at seeing bold colors and high contrast when they are very young, anyway, so the baby might enjoy it!

Looks great! I agree with PP, you should probably go for a solid rug, to keep the balance. You don’t want the room to look TOO busy, but I like the idea of different patterns. Just remember, you want the room to be soothing, so keep patterns & solids kind of balanced.
