My ring is sort of a solitaire but it has accent stones. If it has accent stones is it no longer a solitaire?? Discuss!!

Pretty, but not a solitaire.
Lovely, but no, not a solitaire.
I wouldn’t consider a solitaire. Some people are a bit more leanant with that term, it seems. To me a solitaire is 1 diamond on a metal band (not pave).
Not a solitaire
Love it 🙂 Definitely not a solitare–A solitare is by definition is a gem that is set alone.
I never did get why some people call a ring with more than one stone a solitaire. solitary means alone, as in one.
Interesting…
I always considered a solitaire a stone with a plain band (even bands with side stones I never considered to be soli’s) but it seems that may not be the definition
I don’t consider yours one though
