@kelmac: ” I am shocked at the rudeness of some of the posters on here. Its one thing to not like a ring and tell the OP that-because she asked-but its quite another to bash it. I see rings on here frequently that are not my taste but everyone has different tastes…luckily.”

I try to stay out of posts when things get rude but….
I think your new ring is just lovely. And it looks great on your hand. I am in the jewelery business and it doesnt look yellow to me, and I would never judge based on a snapshot and I definitely would not comment on it.
I find it funny that people would feel free to say negative things about a huge gorgeous diamond that clearly cost a lot of money and I dont tend to see negative things about people’s small rings or Moissy’s. Everyone usually tells the poster how unbeleiveably gorgeous their rings are.
Congrats again, you got a gorgeous ring that most women would swoon over, and it is still very similar to what your Fiance envisioned for you. Looks like a win to me!

I really like your new ring. It looks flashy and bold AND feminine, while the previous one looked masculine and busy. Congrats on your upgrade, and I’m glad you and Fiance are happy with the change! Don’t worry about what the rude bees are saying about it–really, who cares what THEY think? I don’t think bashing it was really necessary. Plenty of rings on this site aren’t my taste, but I’d never put them down, just like I’m sure my ring isn’t everyone’s taste either. If you’re happy then that’s what matters.

I effin LOVE your new ring!!! I liked the first one too, but anything sparkly turns me on…period!!! LOL!!! TreeJewels ring always has me drooling too…I just can’t help it! lol!!! Don’t listen to the negativity!!! Just be greatful for your blessings!!! I don’t know why so much hate is spread when you should clearly be happy for someone…like another poster just said…if you’ve got it, flaunt it!!! Don’t feed the jealousy!!! POST MORE PICS!!! & CONGRATS!!!

My friend got the ugliest e-ring (looks like Batman!) just because her hubby wanted the largest carat weight for the lowest price in our local jewelry district. So she basically got the ugliest 4ct tw diamond ring that they could not even sell at a super reduced price. To make matters worse, she could not even find a wedding band that would sit right next to it. The point is they have been married for 20yrs now and she just loves the ring because he selected it and is so happy she did not make a big fuss about how it looked when she got it. I love it when the guy really “surprises” you with the ring of his choice. Remember it is the marriage that matters NOT the ring.
