It is beautiful! I personally would not want one that big because I would be catching it on everything. But it is totally up to you and your personal feelings.

@lulu_lemon:  if YOU love it, keep it. Others opinions on this should not be a deciding factor.

I think it’s gorgeous and that you should keep it.

@lulu_lemon:  I think it depends on where you’re from/what people are you are used to, but in no way, shape, or form do I think 1ct is too large. It looks perfect on your hand, and I think you should be proud of your ring! Don’t worry so much about what others think..it’s gorgeous, and by no means huge. It’s perfect!

I personaly don’t think it looks that huge. It looks nice on your finger and seems proportionate.

@lulu_lemon:  I dont think so. But I’m guessing you’re from the UK (judging from the ‘bloody,’) and I hear people tend to wear less blingy rings there. But its gorgeous either way! Whatever you’re comfortable with.

@lulu_lemon:  Your ring is gorgeous!  Not too big at all.  Are those commenting on size saying it negatively?  Maybe they just don’t know what to say and mean it as a complement?

I don’t think it’s too big in proportion to your hand. Looks very pretty. If you are from the UK/Australia bigger rings are not the norm here as much as the US so that may be why people are surprised.

Personally I do not like wearing large stones/settings due to knocking them and catching them on stuff so perhaps see how you go and if it is bothering you get the size reduced?

@lulu_lemon:  Its lovely. As long as it works for you and your FI, that is all that matters. People will always have opinons. Yours and his are the only ones that matters in this circumstance.

Considering many bees experience shrinkage, I’d say that it’s just right.

1ct is too large for some and also too small for others. Depending on your area will determine if it’s ‘flashy’

@lulu_lemon:  No. I do not feel it’s too big. Where I’m from that is considered average or a great start…meaning just right!

I would consider it a nice ring…which is why I think people are staring! 🙂 It’s probably really shiny and bright!
