Sorry, but even after reading OPs history, some posts on this thread do seem unnecessary to me :/ what does it matter how many times a person changes their ring, or even if they are showing it off or ‘fishing’ for compliments (which it doesn’t seem like to me anyways).

I think your ring is beautiful, OP. People can be strange sometimes, right?

@Arshim:

I am actually impressed by her ability to stay civil as long as she did. You know the saying “When push comes to shove”. It appears to apply in this particular case and IMO is an expected response to  bullying.

There is something called “group-think” which causes ordinarily nice folk to group together and lose their ability to think independently. Instead it is replaced by what the group believes to be true. I do believe this is what we are seeing here. People high 5’ing all the insults (+1) with very few speaking out for the recipient of these unfair comments.

I hope everyone sees what has happened in this community. It isn’t nice, nor is it fair to put down anyone, especially someone who was simply looking for an opinion.

Bullying comes in many forms, and takes place in many venues, one of which is online. It is hard to fight back when strangers group together and unfairly pass judgments.

Her crime? Asking for an opinion.

My mamma once told me if you have nothing nice to say…..Wink

Edited to say: Let’s put an end to these posts.

This thread has pretty much turned into a serious of personal attacks / back and forths, so I’m going to go ahead and close it now. Thanks!
