It looks like it fits πŸ˜›

TBH these posts kind of irk me, the center stone is over a carat, that’s much more than average in most places. I understand you’re worried about other people’s opinions but, sweetie, it’s HUGE. Besides, the only way a ring can actually be “too small” is if the band doesn’t fit your finger. Nobody’s rock could be too small, ever, even if they want no rock on it at all.

hun, its not small at all. people will notice your ring, its beautiful. you dont want it to be in your face, you know what I mean? Right now if I saw it in person, I would think it was a large diamond. You want people to think “thats a beautiful ring!” , not “holly crap that diamond is HUGE!”

Trust me. They notice. πŸ™‚ That’s by no means a small stone.

Wow! When I opened this I thought I was going to see a dainty little ring on a not so dainty finger. This is anything, but that.  Your ring is beautiful & fits your finger nicely.

1.2 Ct is not small!  If you want it to look bigger, you can change the setting to be halo without having to spend so much money on getting a new bigger center stone.

Hi, I have a size 6.75 finger, but they sized my ring a 7.25 for swelling, and the center is a 1.11…I think mine looks absolutely perfect on my finger, and I think yours does too! πŸ™‚ here’s mine on my hand:

I understand what you mean. People can’t seem to seperate carats from money. When you’re simply talking about proportions. 1carat may be expensive, 1 carat may be larger than average but it doesn’t change the fact that when you put something that is 6mm on top of something that is 14mm the 6mm anything may look small.

To me 1ct or more specifically any 6mm stone LOOKS small on a size 8 hand, I don’t give a sh*t about perceived cost I’m talking about simple math. Something with a 6mm surface looks small on top of something with a 14mm surface,i while it looK’s larger on something with a 9mm surface, it’s just MATH and proportions.

After that is comes down to personal proportional esthetics. Everyone has a visual preferace for item to item size ratio. Srack I like the ratio of stone to finger on your hand.

WanttobeM.E. Your stone to finger ratio is a bit small for my taste. Don’t get me wrong your ring is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! It’s just a matter of mathamatical proportions where when I see something against something else there is a ratio sweet spot. It’s the same with if it were throw pillows against a couch. Some pillows seem a but too big, some pillows seem a bit to small for the couch and some seem to hit an elusive perfect proportion. Doesn’t make the pillows any less gorgeous.

Its just MATH people. So when people ask questions like this you really need to get your heads out of your wallets andastray answering the questions based on proportions not cost. They aren’t asking if their rings look EXPENSIVE, they are asking if the proportions look right!
