You have nice hands and I actually feel that you could even have gone to 3carats and it wouldn’t have looked too big…so no I don’t think it is overwhelming on your finger.

I have a 2.15 diamond and as a PP said it’s actually closer to 8.5mm. And my ring size is smaller than yours (5). I think yours looks lovely on you!

I got comments that it’s big from friends and coworkers, but not obnoxiously so.

Tried to upload a photo but my phone won’t let me. Feel free to check out my previous posts!

jelly91 :  me, too! Maybe that’s why I enjoy seeing them on other women. I’m around average height but I can palm a basketball!

It doesn’t look big to me at all. It took a second for the photo to load and I was actually surprised you’d even be worried about that. It looks perfect for your hand size. I wouldn’t go larger or smaller.

It looks very well proportioned to your hand. I think you just haven’t fully adjusted to it yet!

I have a size 4.75 ring and wear a 9.8 mm (3.5 ct) solitaire, and could totally handle about 11.5 mm… my point is that it’s only “too big” if you think it is.  I think it looks nicely proportioned to your hand, but definitely not big.  Are you worried because you don’t want others to think you’re trying to pass it off as a diamond?

I think your ring is lovely!! Not too big at all. My dream ring is a 2-3 carat solitaire diamond (notice I said “dream” lol). I almost don’t think there’s such a thing as a stone that is “too big”. Enjoy your beautiful ring!

I understand you on having large hands, I have a 3.54 center round brillant it helps my hands look smaller. I think you ring is perfect and beautiful. Congrats on your engagement, enjoy your beautiful ring.😊 Please excuse my dry hands☹

i think it is quite proportionate to your hand, actually! It doesn’t look too big to me, but I am not the one who has to wear it every day!
