I feel like Im doubting all my choices…
My biggest problem is that I love everything. EVERY wedding looks gorgeous to me – and I don’t have a “favorite” color so I seem to be incorporating them all : ( I want my wedding to flow – and not look like I have a bunch of styles thrown together. Please Help!
Does this colorboard work?
My BIGGEST problem is the bridemaid dresses, ties, and boutonnieres – I feel like they are “OFF” a little… maybe it’s the pink?
Simple country wedding – at a ranch in kansas
Flower centerpieces are white peonies and green hydrangeas in blue mason jars
P.S. thank you for all your help ladies! I REALLY do appreciate everything. I know I’ll be off and running once I nail down the feel/theme of the wedding… I just always second guess myself, and I turn to weddingbee for help : ) thanks again

I think it works. It has the feel of a spring/easter-type garden. Not sure if that’s what you were going for, but that’s what I see.
LOOOVE the dress in the bottom right corner, btw!!!

I love it! If that dress is your bridesmaids dresses, I think the pink tie would look nice, especially with that boutenniere. If it still bothers you, maybe find a muted orange one? But I like it the way it is: summery and cheerful.

im loving this inspiration board! especially the ties. keep going!!

thanks ladies! although our wedding is in the “fall” technically – it seems like the weather is staying warmer longer. I don’t dislike the traditional fall colors – but they’re just not “us” i want something cheerful and bright!

I love the ties and that dress! It’s colorful but it not distracting, and it all flows together really well…. what a great job!

I think it’s really pretty, but I think it may look a tad out of place in September. Yes, September is still warm, but those aren’t even summery colors, they really are spring colors. The ties remind me of Easter Eggs!
I think since you said you love “everything” and a lot of inspiration that is out there right now is Spring themed (since it’s spring) that’s what you’re grabbing.

I love it! This is very similar to my color palette – I wanted a floral print dress for my maids but I couldn’t find anything that 100% fit the colors I was going for.

I love the yellow, turquoise blue, and green color combination. It looks so fresh and cheerful, and makes me think of sunshine, blue skies and lemonade- perfect for your venue! The pink is OK, but if I were you I’d probably leave it out and focus on the other 3 colors.

1) I love your colors, and I personally don’t think there’s a such thing as “too much color!”
2) Have you checked with your florist about the availability of peonies and hydrangea in the fall? I always considered them spring flowers. I’m sure it’s duable, but it might be expensive.

MandaMack If I do all the ties green would that look less easter eggy?
I wish I could have had a spring wedding but I just got engaged at christmas… so I felt like I wouldn’t have had enough time : (

The only thing that is throwing me off is the pink tie – everything else looks good! I also agree that this pastel color scheme is super springy. Maybe if you darken all of the colors a bit it’ll fit more with September? But hey that’s just opinion … its YOUR wedding, do what you want! 🙂

I would get rid of the pink and just stick to the blue, green and yello

@samanthakae12: Yeah, I think if they were all green it wouldn’t scream easter egg anymore. And CanAmBride brought up a good point…you’ll be able to get hydrangeas easy in September, but it will be very expensive (if possible at all) to get peonies in September.

Ms. Sorbet – Thanks! Are you saying, get rid of the pink tie? Or get new bridemaids dresses as well?
CanAmBride – The flowers are fake : ) I got them at hobby lobby, they have a new line called “fresh flowers” i think? anyways, they’re are VERY life like – and look awesome!
